Throughout the different seasons there are different needs that are more prevalent than at other times.

BREATHE HOPE COMMUNITY DAY

Join us for the Breathe Hope Community Day, a fantastic afternoon of food, fun, and community engagement! Savor mouthwatering dishes from our cookout while enjoying live music that sets the perfect backdrop for the day. Explore tents hosted by other Harford County nonprofits, each offering valuable services to the community. It’s set to be a day of incredible enjoyment and meaningful connection—don’t miss out on the fun!

BACK TO SCHOOL

Every year we host the B379 Back to School Cookout and Backpack Giveaway!

Last year, over 400 people attended, making it an incredible day, and we’re excited to do it all again. Enjoy a backyard-style cookout featuring burgers, hot dogs, all the fixings, and delicious sides. There will be plenty for the kids to do, as well as snowballs, a medical tent, a prayer tent, and more. And don’t miss the chance for kids to pick out their own backpacks and school supplies while supplies last!

It’s the perfect way to wrap up the summer and prepare our kids for a successful school year. Please let us know if you’re coming.

Kids must be present and school age (Kindergarten and up) to receive backpacks and school supplies.

THANKSGIVING MEAL COLLECTION

There are times for some families that it is hard to put a meal on the table during a normal week, let alone planning a special meal for Thanksgiving. Around the holidays there can be the added stress of financial burdens for families.

For those families, we help to provide a full Thanksgiving meal for them and their family. From the turkey to the fixings to the pumpkin pie. If you would like more information on how to help provide meals (or partial meals), please contact us.

CHRISTMAS WITH BREATHE

Each year Breathe 379 teams up with Santa and local businesses to bring unexpected children a taste of Christmas and joy prior to the big day. With a team of volunteers, a truck load of wrapped gifts and Santa, an unsuspecting neighborhood receives a knock at the door only to find Santa standing in the middle of their street ready to greet children with gifts.

This past Christmas, we provided Christmas gifts, stockings and pajamas for 1,400 children that may have not received gifts due to the struggle that many Americans face throughout the year, financial hardships.
