The annual b379 toy drive

The possibility of any child waking up without a gift on Christmas morning is heart crushing.  We intend to do as much as we can to prevent that by delivering gifts to children throughout the area.  It's our 9th official year, and we are ready to hit the streets again, but we need your help to make a difference.  


Last year Breathe 379, with the help of those supporting and partnering with us, was able to give out 900 gifts, 400 sets of PJs and stockings.  Since inception, Breathe 379 has given out over 5000 toys & 800 sets of stockings and PJ's.  (PJ's & Stockings started in 2020).


Here's how you can help to get more toys/stockings/PJs into the hands of some amazing kids.  


Donate A Toy/Stocking/Stuffers/PJs

  • Donate a NEW toy/gift for a child between the ages of Infant through 17 years old and drop it off at any of our Drop Zones (listed below)
  • Donate a NEW red 18" Stocking (standard) for Salvatore's Stockings
  • Donate NEW Stocking Stuffers for Salvatore's Stockings. (See the list below)
  • Donate a NEW set of PJ's for the Pajama Extravaganza. (Sizes Infant to XXXL)

Become a Drop Zone 

If interested in becoming a Drop Zone, email us and we'll provide a box for your store/office etc. where the public can drop off toys/gifts.  We'll announce it on our Facebook page and we ask that you do the same.  On Friday, December 16th our volunteers will pick up the box and items at your location.  If it fills up prior the scheduled pick up date, please contact us and we will come by and empty it, leaving the box to fill up again. 


Host a Party or Team Project

  • Host a Christmas party and instead of doing an exchange - have your guests bring an item or two from the list. 
  • Have your class, team, Network Group, church, etc. take up a donation or even a day of shopping for gifts.

Wrapping Party

Grab your favorite scissors, some wrapping paper and join us on Saturday, December 17th for a day of gift wrapping.  We start at 12 noon and go until we're finished.  Wrapping, stuffing stockings, prepping PJs...eating, laughing, making new friends and all with a great purpose.

Salvatore's Stockings

Isaiah 61:1-3 "...He sent me... to give them a crown of beauty for ashes..."  Isaiah says that God has anointed him to bring healing to the broken hearted, to bring good news, to bring hope.  At times there is a grief that is so gut wrenching, so breath taking that it takes God Himself to breathe hope back into our very hearts.  in those times we search for ways to find purpose in the pain and it takes God to sweep those broken pieces back up and make something new, something beautiful.  That is our goal with Salvatore's Stockings.  


On September 24, 2017, Salvatore was born with CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia) with a 35% survival rate.  1 out of 2500 children are born with CDH.  On September 25th, 2017, just 29 hours later, Salvatore went to Heaven leaving a very broken hearted family searching for answers, even to this day.  However, in the midst of this tragedy, God has begun to mend hearts and take "ashes" of hurt and pain and mold them into something beautiful.  With the strength and hope that only God can give, Salvatore's family decided to make sure he is honored knowing that God has a purpose for Salvatore's life.  


In 2020 - Salvatore's Stockings were born.  A simple stocking stuffed with needed goodies and items at Christmas for a child, that carries a very special message from Heaven along with it to Mom & Dad.  A message of hope and encouragement with a simple reminder that no one - no matter how broken - is alone.  That they are loved.

PJ extravaganza

There's nothing like seeing a child run out of their door when they notice Santa and all the elves outside with a truck load of gifts.  Until that is - you see some of the children running out in tattered pajamas.  Some too small, some torn...so why not?  Why not get them a new pair?!?!  We're there!!!  Lets do it!!!  Help us make sure that every child that receives a new gift and a stocking - also receives a new pair of PJ's!!!!  Now we can ensure that child is warm as they sleep the night away, waiting on Santa to arrive.
